Orange Leaves, Gohan, South Korea, November 2009

Untitled document

These images were shot in Sabuk and Gohan, South Korea, between Oct 9th and Nov 9th 2009. The two towns housed one of the biggest coal mines in Korea, run by the Dong Won Corporation. It was gradually closed down between 1995 and 2004. To fill the gap, in 2003 the Korean government opened up the only casino in Korea that Koreans are allowed to go to.
