Night Watch

All photographs in the series "night watch" were taken while strolling around at night. The motives of the photographs suddenly appear out of darkness and also disappear again. A short flash allows a vague idea of what the object might be, but still leaves parts of it indefinite and blurred. The motives refuse to disclose their secret. The absence of daylight reflects a primitive state which likewise includes past and future, memory and foreshadow.
